directories interior pages?

I am noticing as I go down a list of directories for inclusion (some paid, some free, some conditional) that many of these directories have good PR for their index page but the actual pages where my link would appear have a PR of 0 and use dynamic URLs to get to my listing and in many cases, have a dynamic URL in the outbound link to my site.
With all that I have learned about SEO it seems silly to pay a directory to add a listing for me on a page that never gets spidered and a link that wont get followed/indexed.

The point of my post is....am I missing something here?

Search the net dude - there are so many directories that do have PageRank on inner pages & static links.. try starting your search here:

generic directories: strongestlinks.com/directories.php

Regional or subject-specific directories: strongestlinks.com/specific_directories.php?sortcolumn=PRa

Thanks for the advice. I had actually been to the strongest directories list before asking the question as they have many directories that want $ for inclusion but dont seem to be spider friendly.

Yup, you're missing something.

You might want to check to see how the page content ranks as even though Google shows a PR 0 for the page you might see the page or content is tops in the SERPs, I know this as one of my pages shows a PR 0 but literally dominates it's area - don't know why, maybe because of all the URL parameters, but it's working and has been for years regardless of the PR.

I think the overall site PR is what it's leveraging and nothing more.

If you check it out and that's not the case, run.
