if so, then sure. apply to edit in the relevant category, and add your own site. as long as it conforms to their guidelines, and you are not using your position unfairly, i don't think there is a problem with it.
i am not involved with DMOZ, so take my opinion for what it is worth.
Being an editor means promising not to give your site an unfair advantage. Being an active editor often means having your content presented less favorably than it might have. Using editor status to try to get your site listed more quickly is a very effective way of getting promoted to ex-editor.
But ... being an editor means being able to add sites you suggested, and sites other people suggested, and sites nobody has suggested yet. You may add your own site, but you may not give it favorable treatment.
