Frames & Dmoz

How does Dmoz look at frames

Hi,

I'm new to WEBMASTER WORLD and would like some help.

I have a website which gets some page rank. About PR3. I want to increase exposure, on a zero $ budget.

So i figured Dmoz is the way to go. Now i have a number of web domain names, which are not allocated web spare, but can be forwarded for free. The free forwarding allows me to enter the Title tag, Meta Desc and Meta Keywords.

If i do this, can this be added to Dmoz or would it look like a duplicate entry. I know Dmoz is human edited soo perhaps it might do more harm.

Any ideas?

Thanks

victor

Step 1 is to read Step One:
[dmoz.org...]

DMOZ will ban you and any sites you are associated with (whether they are listed already or not) if you knowingly break their rules.

Whether that, in the big scheme of things, is harm depends on your viewpoint.

Ohhhh

Thanks for that reply. Perhaps it would be better for me to get cheap webspace for each of the domains then.

Many thanks

It would be better for you to submit a single URL, which would be a direct link (no redirection of any kind) to a page which contains links (possibly transitive) to all the material related to your business (whether it's on the same domain or not.)

If you do honest linking, we'll try to figure out the best single URL to link, based on our guidelines. If you try to do something we've learned to associate with sneaky spammers (including frames to other domains), then you'll have earned the trust you get.

Thanks for the replies.

I dont want to do anything spammer like as its my income thats at stake. For that reason ive stayed away from Link Builders.

Is PR, really important for business success, or can success be created without PR?

thanks all :)

PR is one part of the measure of the visibility of one component of your online business promotion (presumably only a part of your total promotional strategy) on one search engine.

If you think that alone will make you successful, you've already failed -- just haven't noticed it yet.

You could have some sort of economical success without PR, if you do, mmmh, let's say, affiliate marketing and you are used to pay for all your traffic ...
Just an openminded example.

fisch hi,

Thanks

I did try Goodle Adwords in the past, however that didnt work very well. It created economical issues.

So does that pages which rank in the top five for important keywords or phrases, may not suceed unless they also achieve high Page Ranking?

Thanks again
