How much traffic to expect from Yahoo Directory?

Hi all WW ers.

I am thinkig about sending my new site to yahoo directory but i am really corious how much traffic should I expect from the directory and if it affects my ranking on yahoo.

I know it depends on which category, what they, etc. The pr ranking for the directory is 6 and there are about 100+ listings in the directory. However the niche is very popular so i have a hope about traffic.

I am thinking about getting 10-20 visitors a day, but i really don't know if it too much or too less or excatly. As I said the PR is 6 and the category of my site is very very popular.

I would appreciate and advise.

You shouldn't except much traffic from Yahoo Directoy. However, the benefit of being in Yahoo is that your PR will increase and rankings will get better in Google and other engines. So most probably your overal site traffic will increase.

I have one site that gets about 5-10 visits a month from the directory and another that gets about 25 and another that gets about 40

lots of factors such as

the popularity of the topic
the number of competing sites in your category
where your site fits in the alphabet

How do I get into the "Most Popular" category at the top of the directory page listings? Is that based on clickthrus from the directory lsiting or yahoo! serps.....or something else..?
