There are a number of ways to run a clone site. All of them require some custom software, but no custom hardware. Any real host (or any room-temperature-IQ techie running his own LAMP server) should be able to provide all the hardware bits needed.

The room temperature being in °F, presumably.

There is also a category called "Use of ODP Data/Upload Tools" in the ODP's category on itself.

The only requirement I can think off is a large hard disk to store all the stuff.

i think you want to get all the data of dmoz in RDF file and then take it one your own server and run it.

I am using it with content scraping from dmoz using xml, and i get troubles when the traffic goes more.

Thanks for your replies. basically my site using dmoz data through mozzy. And my site was working properly when it was running online. But when i shift the server for this site. The pages are not comming inside the dir.cgi. Empty pages are there. New server are well supported with cgi, perl, asp. aspnet. PHP and all.

Do i need to change anylocal path of the server or anything like that to run properly on the new server also..

Thanks

Have you checked the variables for your site, one of the scripts in your cgi bin will have these normally at the top
