Submitting to ODP via Google and DMOZ

Is that considered a double submittion - and penalised?

Just submitted to DMOZ.
I wish to submit to Google directories too.

Given the rule about multiple submissions I need to know whether submitting the same site via DMOZ and Google directories would be seen by either as a multiple submission - and penalised as a result.
Fwiw, I'm already placed well in Google UK serps for my keywords, but this is my first foray into directory submission.

...hence the (possibly dumb) question.

TIA

When you click on 'submit a site' on directory.google.com, it takes you directly to the dmoz site anyway. There is only one submission form and one submission process.

The fact that I never got far enough to find that out for myself goes to show how unwilling I was to risk it for a biscuit. ;)

Cheers John.
