Dmoz submission not working

I'm a new webmaster and I've been trying to submit to dmoz for weeks, but I keep getting timeouts, page not found, and other weird error messages. I've tried submitting at all hours.

Since I'm new - I was wondering - has it always been this crappy or is this a temporary thing? Should I just give up?

They are having some problems. I couldn't access ANY of the categories this morning. If you seach the site, you'll find other threads that concern DMOZ.

Yeah, we just went through this a few days ago, and I think every other day last week. Definitely read the above threads and you'll see what I mean.
