I have a need to be able to search DMOZ for a domain name (like xyz.com), but I can't find a way to do that search.
It seems that the "link text" (like X Y Z Company)that DMOZ uses is the only way to search for it.
Does anybody know how to search DMOZ for a "domain name"?

You can search dmoz by domain name, for example: webmasterworld.com
Don't add http or www.

The rather handy [dmoz.org...] has plenty of information about how the search function works. To search for google.com, you would type in u:google.com - the 'u:' bit tells the search engine to only return results where the string is found in the URL, and not in the title or description.
Bear in mind that occasionally we list different URLs - for example if you have come.to/mysite which redirects to homepages.myisp.net/~mysite then we will list homepages.myisp.net/~mysite .
