Multiple DMOZ Listings Legitimately?

Is this possible?

I have a photogrpahy site. Let's say I photograph "widgets" from all over the United States.

I'm already listed in DMOZ under:

"Level 1" > "Level 2" > "Widgets" > Photo Galleries

Could I submit subfolders of my site to other appropriate categories?

For example, could I go under various regional categories and submit to each "Anytown, USA" and submit a link to a subfolder on my site that is home to all my widget photos from that town (or area)?

Or could I submit my site under "photogrpahers" listed as "My site - a collection of widget photos"?

I think you see what I mean. There are several angles I could approach a DMOZ listing from and none would be inappropriate for my content. I've seen quite a few other sites do this, but am afraid I may get dropped for some reason if I try and I'm quite happy with my current listing - however, others could only help :)

You might be able to get some guidance from ht*p://dmoz.org/guidelines/site-specific.html.

If the site adds value to the category and isn't in a closely related category, then I'd vote to go and do it. A handful of duplicate submissions isn't considered spam. I'd recommend no more than about 4 total submissions though.

This is a judgment call.

If each gallery was of "minimal content or quality" then the editor would consider the site adequately represented in "Photographers/Personal Pages".

If the site had several related galleries (say several scenic locations in one state) the site might best be represented by one listing in "Kansas/Maps and Views."

If there were several galleries on distinctly different subjects, and each if considered as a site would be one of the best sites on that subject, then the editor will probably consider deeplinking on his own account.
