dmoz category conundrums

to summarize another thread I started here: I recently resigned as editor of dmoz and applied to a different category. Shortly after I received an email that I'd been reinstated (but in the same category as before)

Then I sent my application for the new category again without resigning from the old category first (since obviously the application wasn't received by dmoz doing it this way)

Now I haven't heard back for days. In your opinion what has most likely happened? Have they lost patience with me since I resigned/reinstated/reapplied..What do you think would be the best move in this situation?

I should mention that I haven't done any editing in the short period I've been editor since I've had severe hardware problems (now resolved), which I also pointed out in the application.

thanks

1. Can you still log in?
2. Did you apply under the same nickname?

Yes I applied from the editor dashboard, so I guess it is automatically under the same nickname.

And I can still login

And I just noticed something I didn't notice before, in the editor dashboard it says:

You have requested permission to edit:

(And then it states the category I applied to)

Does this resolve the issue, meaning they just haven't gotten around to my application yet?

If you can log in then you should have taken this to the internal editor forums at dmoz.org.
