I just came across Qango, an AU directory it appears. Anyone have any experience with this one. I listed a couple of sites just for the H of it, so I guess we will see...

News to me :) but, I don't (generally) sell in the Australian market...

Yeah, with the current exchange rates they do much better selling to the US. But, there are certain niche markets that go the other way :)

That directory is empty. It looks like some kind of joke to me.

Not completely empty. You have to look around a bit. Also, there is this explanation offered...

"On 27 July 2002 the Qango web server had a major hardware failure. The hard drive became inaccessible resulting in the loss of all the data for all the sites I had been operating under the Qango domain..."

Hey, it's spidered by Google. Figured it wouldn't hurt to be listed, if for no other reason than for the link :)

This posting, with the amount of webmasters that use this forum, has probably just given them the kickstart they need.

Submitted one of mine too (a non-commercial hobby one).
