You find the name of the editor from the category you submitted your site to, that will have his contact details

I'm not sure exactly what she is asking. If she wants to know the status of a submitted site, she should ask at Resource Zone. Directly contacting editors in such matters is usually fruitless.

How do you find the contact info for a category? I think my editor is dead, it has been 3 months...

3 months? That's nothing if your category has a lot of submissions.

As Alphawolf wrote, this isn't unusually long for the ODP. Check the category page for a listed editor. If there is none, then the editor is the first one you find going up the tree. Also, if the site just hasn't been reviewed pestering the editor may not be the best strategy. I'd reserve contacting the editor only in cases of serious error of fact in description, or things like informing him if an innocent site in his category tutned into a porno one, etc.

3mths is nothing for Dmoz, I've waited a lot longer, but thats what you get when you don't pay for something

The only thing you can do is head to resource-zone and ask there.
