I want to get my commercial website listed in Zeal and can't figure it out. I signed up and passed the initial tests that earned me 25pts. I thought from that point I could list myself but I guess because it being a commercial cat, I can't. Is this correct? I posted a message and a zealot said I had sign up for listings.looksmart.com to be in the zeal directory. Is this correct? Do they only offer PPC? If so I am not interested. Is ther any other way to get in a Zeal commercial cat?
Thanks,
Josh
Even if they accept your site, a LookSmart editor will boot it later - which then is more irritating if you had gotten accepted in the first place.
Imho, Zeal is just an annoying waste of time - however, others may have a different perpsective.
:) You can always try their PPC -> and remember, "actdumb" apparently is a great example of a snafoo (mistake) of theirs.
Use the site search for more details. Cheers.
I run content sites, so must of the stuff fits into Zeal -- even if it includes some affiliate links. A few pages of mine would belong in categories marked commercial, so I can't get them in there -- which is a bit sad.
