DMOZ - How long does it take to update

My site is listed in DMOZ for a long time now. As we changed focus, the description of our site has chnaged too, and the one in DMOZ does not reflect what we really do - obviously it also does not include our top keywords...

I've posted a chnage-request over a month ago (i know it counts as seconds in the Searching world...)

Anyone has any idea how long before DMOZ updates my listing?

Thanks

It has to be manually reviewed by an editor, so it could take anything from a few days to several months, or even longer.

The ODP Public Forum is a good place to ask.

Search on Google for resource-zone for the ODP forum :)

The ODP will consider an update to your description if the current one no longer accurately describes your site. However, they will not consider an update to your description for the purpose of adding in your top keywords.

Well - your advise is paid off. I checked my update status, and they didn't like what I sent (too many keywords :-) - they didn't like the existing description either :-) --- anyway - they suggested I resubmit the update which I'm working on right now - to make sure it fits the guidelines.

Thanks a lot.
