Does linking to DMOZ cause any problems?

If you have a links page that has a link to a related DMOZ category, are there any problems associated? I wouldn't thik it does but in other threads I hear mention of DMOZ clones or backlinks causing a reduction in PR.

Welcome to WebmasterWorld, moehits.

If you link to a DMoz clone that's classed by Google as a bad neighbourhood then you might pick up a penalty.

In my experience the number of bad neighbourhoods on dmoz.org itself has tended to be very few so I don't think you need worry.

I do this on a couple of sites and have no problems. Like said above link to dmoz and not a clone.
