ODP in other languages than English

The members of Webmasterworld have websites in many different languages. How do these people feel about ODP?

Personally I am deeply satisfied with the job that is being done by editors here in Denmark. During the last few weeks I have submitted two websites and two corrections for existing entries. In all cases the edit was done same day though none of the categories have their own editors.

It would be nice with some more visitors from ODP, though. But ODP does not have a very high profile in Denmark.

One of our local editor (Québec, only 8 255 listings) Was a nominee for spring 2002 as "Most dedicated editor" and "Most improved category". He did quite a clean up in directory structure and moving sites around to the proper place.

Sites are usually added within 2 weeks. Most of them are visited 2 days after submission. Even if we dont get much direct referrals from the ODP, secondary benefits are great.

My experience has been similar with submissions to French language sites.

I appreciate that DMOZ may have problems attracting editors to "foreign" language categories, but one would think that France itself for French language sites should have a reasonably fast review time :(
