Sites in ODP but don't come up in search

A site I submitted was indexed by ODP about 2 months ago but when I search for the listing it doesn't come up in the search results (I've searched by URL, by keywords and by the title itself).

Is there a problem with ODP or is this a normal time lapse?

There are already several open threads in this forum about this topic.

The RDF dump has had a problem for the last few months. The last one was produced towards the end of 2002 September. The RDF dump is used by downstream data users, such as Google, as well as being used to update the Search facility of the ODP site itself.

This is being worked on, but may well take many more weeks to fix. The RDF dump takes nearly a week to produce. If it fails then each failure has to be investigated, then the procedure restarted.
