When will RDF "dump" be updated?

It has been over a month!

I am beginning to worry about a huge problem existing at DMOZ in creating the RDF dumps. The last update was Sept. 22.

This impacts all the changes made since that date being used in thousands of other sites, and of course those changes will not be in (GOOGLE) <snip>

Still no indication from DMOZ when, if ever, they will solve their programming problems. No notices, no nothing!

It is making life very difficult for sites that have scheduled development work around RFD Dump updates.

I am amazed at the lack of information.

I contacted the new programmer at Netscape who is responsible for the RDF Dump and ask if they had discontinued or just delayed the new RDF Dump and she responded:

"We've been having server problems; a new one will be up as soon as we can manage it."

So, I assume the problem is connected with hardware...perhaps disk size...or memory size (sorts require mucho memory). But, no guess from her as to when "they can manage it." I work with the dump every day, so I can understand the problems associated with it's size.

Perhaps, I should offer a free server.
