Two weeks ago an editor accepted one of my sites and it was listed immediately within his category. An ODP search does not yet find it, however. Does anyone know how frequently an index is regenerated of ODP-listed sites?

It's not very consistent lately, but every 2 weeks or so it seems to be updating.

Whether or not your site appears in the ODP search results is wholly independant on when it appears in the index. An RDF dump of all ODP data is produced on a weekly basis. It is then picked up by ODP end-users (like Google).
