Travel specific and general directories.

Any pointers on directories that offer free submissions and that would count as good backlinks ?. I am basically looking for directories both regional and international related to the travel industry.

We generally try to stay away from linking requests in the forums (spam bait).

Best bet is to hit Dmoz itself and start walking down your category. From there, look at the sites and where they link too. There are dozens -- if not hundreds -- of travel directories.
