How do you go about efficiently implementing a system with multiple optional filters.
I'm looking to improve my subsystem for advertising/split-testing. Parts of the page might be set according to any or all of time, split identifier, country, page views, referring domain etc.
Is there any way do this efficiently? Is there any need to do it efficiently if there's only 100s to 1000s of rows involved?
