Hi - I have a large list of text entries (company names), and i want to remove certain legal entety-characteristics. For example, some of the entries have "SARL" either before or after the company name. My main goal is to remove the SARL, and get a "standardised" field of names. I am quite new to this whole thing, and I cannot seem to find a function that gives me the text without the "SARL".

Any help GREATLY appreciated, as I've been struggeling all day to do this...

Whoops - just saw in your title that you're working with Access.

I'd suggest exporting it to a csv file and then using excel to make your edits.
