MS SQL Backup To A Share

Anyone ever attempt this?

Can you make a MS SQL backup write to a share?

Right now, I'm only able to write backups to a drive (C:, D:, etc.), but I thought I've heard of it being done to a share as well.

Think I figured it out. Apparently, using a drive share with a "$" doesn't always work so well.
