Hello,
my father in law has a bit of a problem and im trying to help him if i can.

not so long ago he started to use access 2003 database to administrate the members of their community service ((club of older people)
Problem he have is this....

the query for new members thats been pulled from that database with content as :name , address , date , day of birth , and phonenumber is ok..

The date is showing like : 10-05-2007. thats ok...were dutch...

But in the letter that he then creates in word (connected to query) the DATE is suddenly showing in american style like : 5/10/2007 instead of 10-05-2007

He said,in windows xp de date-setting is set to short date ...so...10-05-2007 , he has tested this a few times.

In the help file of office it says its PROBABLY a setting in the SQL?
He couldnt find that setting....

Before this office 2003 he used 2000 and he didnt had any problems (as he said).
But he changed to 2003 cause some of the members were using 2003 and was easier like that cause they exchange information...

so thats basically the story , anyone know how to change the settings so it shows normal?

I'm not sure myself, don't use Access, but do any of these Microsoft support links [search.microsoft.com] help?
