moving db's from one server to another

I need to move mysql db's from one site to another. I thought that by ftping all files to the new site, everything would be working, but of course not. I need to move around 8 db's ( not very big files) and I have phpadmin.

I would think that somehow I could download the whole setup, then upload to new server but it doesn't appear to be that easy. Any easy ways to just copy the info and upload without a lot of configuring as I'm about as non techie as can be.

I am not sure if I got you wrong...

But you can back-up every single DB and then just restore it on new server...
