MySQL, Serving Millions of Pages

Hi All,

I'm looking for guidelines that will build a LAMP solution to scale 5 million pages and above.

Is it advisable to store 1000 tables in one database? or should they be spread on multiple databases? Are there limits on the number of tables in a single database?

On a 2.4 kernel using ext3, the limit is at 4TB..
