Hi, hoping someone can help me out here. I'm looking to add a forum 'column' to my website that will be placed to the left of a couple of tables I already have. What I want to happen is that people who are viewing the page can click on a post link, a pop up comes up where they can type in an entry, (no login, registration or passwords) and then click OK after they're done and they can see their entry in the forum column of my page immediately. Simple, clean and open.
Anyone know of a download for something like this?
Thanks for your help.
Adam

Welcome to WebmasterWorld, adammadigan!

Let me be sure I understand you... The whole "forum" would be in a column on one page? Presumably, you would only display a max number of posts, and then discard the oldest?

It sounds like a "shoutbox" - if you search for that term on a script site or on the web you should be able to locate such a script.

Shoutbox... haven't heard that term before. Sounds like what I'm looking for though, so thanks a million!

Glad to help. If that's not it, Adam, c'mon back and explain a bit more... we'll try again. :)
