(Sorry for my bad English.)

The internet is very hot in China today. Every one is talking about web 2.0, many young people like me is eager to lauch new website, hope someday can make a big money.

Many people say community is the major appliance of web 2.0, it has a good future than common content site, because it's more interactive, user-make-content. Do you think that's right? and how do you think about web 2.0? Are there bubbles of internet today?

Thanks for your reply.

Hmmm, not so sure about Web 2.0, for me it's just another term or phrase for post-dotcom bubble burst and doesn't really mean anything.

As for community, well the entire web is a community and is what for me, drives the web and that will never change so yes community does have a good future in that sense.

Yes, community is a key part of the Web 2.0 concept.

To succeed, though, you'll have to have a good idea for a community, and then execute it well enough to attract members (who probably have other alternatives if your community isn't welcoming).
