More Interaction Forums Suggestion

Software to have users make their own profiles likemyspace or friendster?

Hey, everybody-- I'm new.

I have a niche site that needs a forum.
I've read all over this (awesome) forum, but can't find
information on some forum features.

I need software suggestions (paid or free) that will
allow my users to post photos, stats, etc.
And then be able to have a "Friend" list with picture thumbnails.

Like the site "Friendster" does.
Is there such an animal, or is that all custom built?

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I think most of the popular forums, like phpBB, vBulletin etc do have the kind of features, in one form or another, you're talking about. Have you found out any further information?

To get some of those features, you may need to install a hack or two. Check hack lists for "profile modifications" or similar.
