Still Struggling with phpBB Message Board

Hey guys
I am totally confused.
I need your help coz I have no idea what to do!
I have selected to download the phpBB v2.0.19 on the website, but there is a various of options which can be downloaded like “a list of files containing in this realease” (I don’t even know what this means. How do you know what type of file to choose?). Anyway, I have selected “phpBB-2.0.19-codechanges.tar.bz2” à “platform independent.bz2” BUT THEN I needed to select a “mirror” (What does this mean?). It gives a list of continents but SOUTH AFRICA isn’t listed… Therefore I cannot download the software
Sorry guys but I don’t know what to do.
Help would be appreciated.

Hi, download phpBB-2.0.19.zip or phpBB-2.0.19.tar.gz if it is a new install. As for "mirrors", it doesn't matter where you download it from just pick one.

You might try a host that has automated installs of phpBB. Not only is installation a snap, but you might also get a little more support from the host due to familiarity with the program.
