My forum has been up for a week and has approximately 25 subpages (the subpages are static html pages) that have yet to make it to the Google index. Google has indexed the index.php page, but none of the sub-pages (all static html page) have been indexed yet.

Does anyone know how long it takes for the sub-pages to be indexed? Should I be worried that they have yet to be indexed?

Welcome to WebmasterWorld, pokerjoker. Forum subpages aren't any different from other pages - the rapidity with which they are spidered and indexed will depend on a variety of factors. In Google's case, the number and quality of inbound links are a major factor. Google PageRank, though less important than in the past, is a quick measure of link quality - a link from a PR6 page will help you more than one from a PR2 page.

Don't expect overnight success with rankings - it may take months to see serious SE traffic. And, since most forum pages aren't highly optimized, the traffic is likely to be for less common and longer phrases (though that's not always true).

Getting some deep links to your forum sub-pages will help your cause.
