Snitz Forums blocking member IP address

Does anyone use Snitz forums out there? I'm on version 3.4.04.

I need a way to block a members IP address to stop them reregistering accounts after I have banned them.

I have posted on the Snitz forum but its very quiet and I really could do with a quick answer.

Just ban them from the server

Use .htaccess or whatever you have available, lot's of threads in WW about banning IP from servers.

I don't want to ban them from reading the main site, we are a daily newspaper, just stop them accessing the forum.

Go to Snitzbitz and look for IP gate. I use it and it's great

You can put a .htaccess file per public directory on the server and block specific accessm the rest of the server remains unaffected.
