Go to your facebook home page
type:
up, down, up, down, left, right, left, right, b, a.

then press enter and try to type or click on something.

When I heard this I was a little incredulous, I didn't want to be gullible. But I tried it and sure enough something unusual happened. using IE7 on Windows

Works in FF too, that's called the Konami code.

What I have is

Get to your facebook home page.

Make sure no text fields are highlighted (click the background area to make sure.) On your keyboard:

Up arrow
up arrow
down arrow
down arrow
left arrow
right arrow
left arrow
right arrow
b
a
[PRESS ENTER]

Now click any element or type in any field. Enjoy. :-)

I'm so out of touch with gamer culture. I did a little reading on the Konami code... it's been implemented in different ways on digg.com and Google reader, too.

Last link on Wikipedia page links to a site that lists numerous places where the code is used.

Actually once I figured it out and enabled it . . . it was kinda' annoying, don't know why anyone would want it on their page. :-)
