I actually heard this on the radio this morning as well... I wonder if facebook is gonna be like MySpace and Orkut which were taken over by a newer social network website? Is twitter perhaps gonna be the new facebook? Why didnt hi5, orkut and myspace succeed?

I personally think cause Facebook made millions feel special (the ones who had an .edu account and thought the site was exclusively for them!)

Facebook proved that everybody wants/needs to stand out, be unique, and/or get the most attention!

i've only used it as a registered user, as the site's homepage is a login screen. i believe you could only view some of the content without registering; however, you would need to register to actually use facebook.
