For most here, the reaction will be "Duh, no kidding" but just the same:

One of the big red flags were seeing is ads that link to blog platforms designed to look like a personal testimonial from a satisfied customer. In our experience, if an ad takes you to a blog, its best to hit the back button immediately.

I agree that an ad taking you to a blog post looks fishy, and that most readers here could readily spot fake endorsements. There are lots of clueless folks out there that often don't even know what site they are on, and even this BBB warning probably won't help them much.
