Anyone heard of "Forumotion" forum creator?

I want to create a simple forum (no coding hosting etc) and I ran across Forumotion. It looks decent and editable enough for what I need but they also want you to buy "credits" for additional edits, etc.

I do not want any ads coming up in my forum so I don't mind paying for the service but the forum is clearly run by a foreigner (I can tell by the broken english on the site). That is not necessarily a bad thing but I would like to check them out before I pay for some edit credits.

Anyone have experience with this forum?

Thanks, - J

Hey don't everyone all reply at once. I'm having trouble keeping up with all these threads.

Apparently, nobody knows that one here, htfun.

Completely hosted solutions for forums don't seem all that popular here, perhaps because they don't offer much control and the owner may end up promoting a site owned by others.

Another alternative would be to sign up for hosting that comes with forum software, perhaps as part of a Fantastico package. Be sure that your software is the latest version if you go this route. PhpBB is the most popular open source package.

That makes sense. Thanks for the reply. I don't care what I use really as long as it is simple and i dont have to do any programming.

I'll check out Fantastico.

Thanks again,
