Social marketing tends to rely on compelling content - stuff that bloggers link to, visitors "digg" or otherwise support, etc. I doubt if $5 articles are going to be really compelling - at best, you are likely to get copied content (rewritten if you are lucky), big news quotes with a few original words, etc.
Perhaps I'm misunderstanding your plan - can you explain the idea in more detail?
Do keep in mind that it is even more difficult (perhaps MUCH more difficult) to write a good PPC ad than to write a good article.
You may say, "but it's only a few words..."
But that, you see, is what makes it so difficult.
I have two main problems:
1. I am not a good writer, especially in english.
2. I don't have enought budges to pay for ghoswriters.
I read some reports about article marketing, it all depend on high quality and huge amount of articles, content in order to success.
Are there other traffic methods I can apply besides PPC and article writing?
One thought: add a partner who CAN write English copy and knows your topic, and who will do so for free in return for part ownership in the company. (Hint: before you hand over any ownership, have some kind of milestone system in place. Hand over equity as goals are met.)
Traditional SEO and link building is also "free" if you do it yourself, but you need content to optimize. If your link buying budget is zero, it will also be a tedious and perhaps frustrating process. In addition, it's likely to be months and months before any SE traffic kicks in.
But this month, everything changed really fast, I couldn't make money from the same way. So I need a new way to generate traffic, and it must be cheaper than PPC, and it also can bring quality visitors.
So I consider buying articles or hire ghostwriter.
Now I'm still tring PPC advertisement, but I have no income this month, and I'm afraid it will remain for a period of time. So even I have some budge, but I still have to think clear then invest the money.
I plan to have $800/month in next 3 months. If I can earn some money from my PPC campaigns, I may invest more.
But I'm not sure how many articles should I submit to directories in order to get result.
I even consider buying traffic from some companies. My site are all adsense sites, adsense is my primary income since last year.
I have read a report months ago, the author used to write and submit 30 articles for a site. And he built about 50 mini websites, and earn 5 figure income every month.
His method sounds good, and I really consider his method. But the problem is, I can not suddenly become a good writer, and PLR articles are low quality.
I have $500+ budges for article marketing, so I can hire ghostwriter to write about maybe 40 articles for me, and 10 for website content, 10 for submitting to top AD, the other for bulk submission. In this way, I can afford to promote one site a month.
Also, I think about the quality of my website, and how many websites should I create.
For websites' ideas. I have two ideas now, one is to build a website focus on adsense income, and the other is for squeeze page and blog.
And I definitely can not start one new site every month, so I plan to focus on at most 6 sites to promote.
The six sites must based on 3 more different niches, because I want to test which market is better.
Now the problems are here:
1. Who can help me build an ideal & affordable web content?
2. Who can write affordable and high quality articles for me to submit them to those top article directories?
3. Does PLR articles and bulk submit to 100+ AD still work for SEO? Or it just waste my time and money? And how many articles should I submit in order to get a long term results?
4. Can I drive more traffic by using article marketing than buying PPC ads?
