Open Source NetVibes?

I've been a user of netvibes for a while, Its great.

Is their any open source solution available?

Also does anyone know what is running netvibes at the backend, we all know its web 2.0 (whatever that is exactly) but what are they using for a database, is it a php, asp, jsp or something else?
