Social Bookmarking and SEO Importance

just getting into this bookmarking business and wondering how many of you guys use them, which ones, do you have multiple accounts for same provider and how highly you rank these sites in terms of SEO and valuable backlinks?

I usually open an account on each one and load it with my sites, which takes a few minutes, and then don't spend any more time at it.

Occasionally, I'll get a big wave of referrals from a widely-read social whatever site. I find the most lasting effect is that the second- and third-tier sites that aspire to be the widely-read site will pick up the link, and usually it persists a lot longer there and does you a decent amount of good.
