i have a forum and for some reason whenever it sends an email to a user to say their yahoo account it sends it to their junk folder.

i was looking at the headers, and i think that might be the reason why it isnt sending the mail correctly. is there anyway to fix this issue.

pm me and i can give you my URL for my forum.

thanks

users need to accept the incoming mail as "not junk" ... this is part of their individual settings in their account. You can put a caveat somewhere in the forum that the may need to check "junk mail" for their message and list the address that the mail is sent from so that they can easily identify your forum mail and add it to their address book

users need to accept the incoming mail as "not junk"

But when I have incoming mail from ordinary people (not from an automatic generator) the email ends up in my inbox, and not in my "spam box"

Is there really NO way to write a script that sends mail which the users mailclients take as mail from a real person?
