I have applied the recomended patch to my forum. However, lately I get emails that new posts are started, and when I arrive to see what they are about, they are gone.

I have also went to administrative approval for new members due to members signing up just to post their pornographic web sites.

I'm a very small forum, I dont have tons of members (80 to be exact, and this is after about 2 years online). Its a medical forum, who would want to cause me these problems? I'm not ranked high at all. All we do is provide information for people with an illness, and the ability to meet others with the same things and just hang and discuss.

I guess my question would be, is someone causing me problems with these disappearing posts? Is someone getting into my forum somehow?

Best to search the PhPbb support forums for similar problems to see what the issue is.

Did you patch or completely upgrade to 2.0.11?

I patched.
And thank you I'll search their forums, didn't think of that.

PhPbb recommend fully upgrading - the patch is only a short term solution apparently. :)

Thanks again, I guess I need to do this upgrade as well.

Do you know if this will interfer with any mods that I have installed? Eh, no matter if it does, good practice reading php and installing if I do have to redo them. ;)
