Hello everyone,
This is my first time posting here so I will try to sound as least noobish as possible. I have been wanting my own online community, to be more specific, an art community, for well... artists. I want it so the members have the ability to login to my site on the homepage, and have the forums also be customized to my site. I do not even know if this is possible with PHP, but any help would be greatly appreciated.

You can certainly customize phpBB to "look" like your site. Many of the other available free, paid, and hosted boards are also customizable to that degree.

If you're familiar with html and some php, it shouldn't be too much of a problem....

Quite a few forums let you integrate with your site, either directly or by installing "hacks" (program changes by third-party coders). Creating a home page login shouldn't be difficult, and you can also do things like include recent threads on your home page, etc. Good luck, and welcome to WebmasterWorld!
