My blog posts that received the most traffic were the ones that I promoted on social media and linked on sites like Reddit in relevant threads. This is the manual way to get more views, and it can be a lot of work for little pay out, unless the threads and your social media have huge followings.

If you want more organic views, for example from google searches, then you'll need to get quality do-follow links from highly ranked websites. With these, you'll rank higher on google and more people will find your post on their own, without you having to promote it. (Although promoting always helps)
