Adding a site to Chinese SEs

How can you do it

Assuming that you’re not a Chinese reader, how do you add or suggest a site to Baidu and Zhongsou? Any help is welcome!

You say that you cannot read Chinese, but I hope that you have a site with Chinese language content that you are promoting. Getting an English language site into these engines is a waste of time for the most part.

Next, submitting sites to search engines is a dead art. Any worthwhile search engine will spider your site if you have some quality links from sites already in their index. Some even argue that it is preferable to have an SE find you on its own through links rather than using a "submit URL" form.

Worse than that! The site is in Spanish. However, I receive some visits from Google Hong Kong and I see backlinks to my site in sites indexed by both SEs.

My website has an academic profile and I think it could be useful for some Chinese students and professors. A tiny portion of that huge and growing public could be not despreciable.

But, “for the most part”, it is just an experiment.
