Today Google Australia celebrates their 2nd Birthday.

Congratulations on an outstanding two years and best wishes for the future.

I'm sure at least one Google Australia rep reads these boards (Go BoSox!) so Aussie G users should feel free to send their congratulations to the G-Team downunder in this thread.

(I also hear that some friends and clients of Google Australia have been invited to help G Australia party on into the weekend at a certain place in The Rocks ;) )

I was in Sydney a few weeks ago and had the pleasure of being treated to coffee there by Google australia.

What a lovely bunch of people, and I am sure this will be 1 party to remember.

Its really been a busy week here in Sydney. The Google 2nd birthday was great on Friday evening. Some of the senior Asia-Pac management from Mountainview were there (no one came over from the US for the first birthday party) - so it was a milestone.

We also had the Search Engine Room conference earlier in the week - Shor was there - and Kate from Google was sort of misintroduced as 'the elephant of search' (I think he meant that Google was the elephant...) ...... but I couldn't miss the opportunity to take an elephant card & present to Kate for the birthday party...!

P.S. Unfortunately, we won't be running a Sydney Google birthday party caption competition this year. :) I haven't seen this years pics yet - but nothing could beat last years eh Woz....
