hi, i have been searching everwehere for some help with chinese transaltions and chinese seo. can someone point me in the right direction where i can get some assistance in this matter. please pm me if you can help.

Hi Tim,

There are quite a few threads in this forum about SEO and Translations for China, havea read through and you will find some great information.

As to translation, the key is getting native-tongue translations to make them worthwhile. You could try hunting around the local Chinatowns or your local Chinese Computer shop to find Web Designers in your area.

As chinese translation services, the simplest way is get a hand from your chinese friends. if it isnt fit you, you can find an translation service provider which is very common in almost every cities in china.

and as chines seo, you can recur to search enines for seaching some professional companies .
the most popular search engines in china are baidu(www.baidu.com),google china(you can enter by choosing from google preferrences) and yahoo china(yahoo.com.cn); besides 163.com(netease)/sina.com/sohu.com(or sogou.com)are another more popular portal search eninges .

Maybe another good question would be, what's the current state of SEO in China. Are there a lot of good professional SEOs in the Chinese market in your opinion?

Being green-hand in SEO industry, I'm unqualified to comment neither specific company nor search engine optimizers. IMO, there are many good-ethic seo professionals, meanwhile it is still a long way for the good development of Chinese seo industry. I can find so many black hat seo tactics used by some seos just to gain a higher position for their customers. But it is a hopeful industry, and the current situation is just like that of any other countries in their early time.

The best way to get a professional and credible SEO company is eliminating amid some big-brands for the best one.Or, you can get some recommendations from your friends or me(if you dont minded my frankness). If not, at first, you should find such big-brands. Certainly, professional SEOs should get a top position on google/baidu or other SERPs first targeting key words related with SEO business or services.So, i think the simplest way to find them is to choose such keywords, and try them on google/baidu etc, then find out the high ones.

Then, contract with them, make clear of prices and the year of their experiences, successful cases and so on. After that , contrast and pick up the best one.
