Getting an Australian nameserver?

Has anyone answered the question of how to host a site in the US but have an australia nameserver for google purposes? We are very happy with our hosting service located in the US but are launching an aussie auction site with an .au domain, and it sounds like we may have to move it to a new AU hosting service to get it to show up in Google, or get an Australian nameserver. Sorry if I missed the answer to this question.

Any suggestions of aussie hosting services that are good and reliable at a fair price?

Already submitted to DMOZ, who knows how long that will take to show up...

Sorry to let this one linger meingalls.

To the best of my knowledge Google can determine that your site is focused on the Australian market if you have a .au domain alone. If you were using a plain .com domain, then it might be wise to look at hosting in Australia. One or the other will suffice. You don't need both.

When DMOZ listings will show up are anyone's guess. The general rule with DMOZ is to submit and forget.
