I am a native Chinese and working on a Chinese website promotion project. It seems many people here have good traffic for their chinese pages. So I would like know how to achieve it, besides link exchange? Thanks in advance.

A good way to kick-start traffic to your Chinese website is to pay for some clicks (PPC). Currently Baidu's program is doing nicely for me. A few of the other engines have similar programs in place.
