Australian search engines

Are there really 12?

With reference to the new sensis SE (thread [webmasterworld.com...]

I didn't know there were 12 search engines in Oz...

Neither did I!

I was tempted to put this in foo but.... seriously...

Can anyone name and rank them please (with sources if possible and within WebmasterWorld TOS).

Well lets start with the obvious:

Google
Yahoo
nineMSN
Sensis

I would also suggest that they have included:
Looksmart
Overture as Search Engines.

Also don't forget
Mooter
WebWombat
GoEurka

But then I got stuck at 9, so I then did a quick Google and came across a page that listed more than 12. Although it claims to be "updated" I am not sure when this was.

Not sure I agree with some of these.

I also found [hitwise.com.au...] which provides a graphical view which was update June 2004.
