msnbot and Asian languages

Like everyone else I've been seeing the msnbot a lot recently. However all the sites where I have logfile access are in "Western" languages (i.e. English, French etc.), and I was wondering whether the msnbot has a similar appetite for Asian languages.

Anyone care to comment?

msnbot is all over my Japanese and Chinese sites. It doesn't seem to discriminate on language or character encoding barriers.

Comparing data from several hundred Japanese sites,
msnbot is at least as active if not more active than googlebot.
